DESCRIPTIVE DATA
----------------
object type: A small sachet valentine of lace-paper with shaped edges. A central chromolithographed scrap of girl and boy peasant figures, the girl carrying pink roses in her apron, lifts up to reveal a printed verse within a circular window: 'My Wish / May every beam that / Phoebus throws - Be brighter / than its wont today - And ev'ry / breeze that Zephyr blows - Be / sweeter than the Summer rose, ...'. A wad of dark blue tissue paper can be seen through the lace-paper perforations. Very similar in style to another sachet valentine P.14417-R-42, which is mounted on the same album leaf.
