DESCRIPTIVE DATA
----------------
object type: White embossed paper with a lace design and a red, hand-coloured edge, mounted with a panel of silver and white embossed lace-paper with scallop shell and flower design. Paper springs can be seen through the lace-paper panels at upper right and lower left. which indicates that the panel of silver and white embossed lace-paper would originally have lifted up into a 'raised' position before the springs were stuck down. Identical, chromolithographed flower scraps are affixed at upper left and lower right corners. A central oval window contains a white paper panel which is mounted with a small scrap of flowers and motto: 'Angels guard thee'. Below is a collage of embossed, hand-coloured paper flowers and cut-paper leaves. The front paper is adhered to the back.
