The arches to left and right display small rectangles of white coated paper with an unusual quatrefoil design in pink and green inks, bled into the paper. A pink paper scroll with gold lithographed detail and motto: ' A Souvenir' is affixed at lower left and a lilac paper rectangle with gold lithographed detail and verse: 'Accept this Tribute / of my unchanging / Friendship', is affixed at lower right. Inside, the circular mirror glass is framed with a flower garland of white and gold embossed paper. An initial 'M' is written in graphite on the album leaf below the valentine.
