The print is unlisted in De Vesme's catalogue raisonne and although Tuer lists a subject on the departure of a sailor, this relates to the work of John Hodges Benwell, whose work Bartolozzi engraved, but which does not resemble this print. Bartolozzi's name seems to have been removed from the plate in later reprints (See, Staff).
