  <description>
    <value>Netsuke: manju in two sections: Sennin Chokaro. Ivory, circular manju. The bowl with central himotoshi and the cover with an eyelet. The cover is decorated in Shishiaibori (sunken relief) and Kabori (hairline engraving) with the figure of Sennin Chokaro running and holding a large sack over his left shoulder while his horse emerges from the two gourds attached to his kimono. Red paint decorates the waist of the two gourds and his lips. The bowl is incised with a prancing horse, its mane and hooves with white details. A green band circles the himotoshi on the outside.</value>
