The dancing figures to left and right are Burdett and Grey. Lord John Russell stands on the right playing pipes and banging a drum. Brougham is dressed as a woman at the far left and holds a ladle for contributions to the Duke of Cumberland and Eldon. Lord Londonderry is raising the hem of Brougham's dress. The Duke of Gloucester stands behind him. Reformer figures are 'Jack' Hobhouse, behind and to the left of King William IV and Daniel O'Connell to the right. On the far right in the foreground is the foot of Hunt, who is identified by a streamer inscribed 'MATCHLESS' which trails out of his coat pocket.
