Signed with monogram at lower left: 'HB'. Title printed below the border: 'A VENERABLE SPIDER & A BUZZING FLY. (A FABLE)'. Below the title: 'For the moral thereof vide No.619 of the John Bull.'. The publisher's details printed below left: 'Published by Thos. McLean, 26, Haymarket, Nov. 9th 1832.'. A small, circular blind stamp at lower left: 'THOs. MCLEAN'.
