Bound edges, damaged, left on cotton backing. 35cm x 34cm 13 3/4" x 13 3/8" Framing border of strawberry repeat pattern with an inner rectangular framing border of stylised flower and leaf repeating pattern. Between the two framing borders symetrically placed traditional detached motifs with "Phebe Ann Coles inscribed at the bottom. Within the flower and leaf frame are two short verse inscriptions. "All fulness of pease/All fulness of joy/ And spiritual bliss/That never can cloy". This occurs in many compilations, one of the earliest "A Collection of Hymns. Extracted from various authors" A.
