From 1903, they led the introduction of Minton ‘Secessionist Ware’, range of vases, plates, teapots, jardinières and other items featuring Art Nouveau designs applied to new elongated shapes and accentuated by slip-trailing. Solon favoured sinuous figurative and foliate designs, Wadsworth’s tend to be more rationalised and restrained.
