  <description>
    <value>Cream-coloured earthenware with markedly yellow lead-glaze, particularly on the base and exterior. The silver-shaped top has a wavy edge, a sloping rim, and deep curved sides. The circular lower part has deep double-curved sides and stands on a footring. On opposing sides it has an applied spout, the one left is uncovered to admit hot water, and the other is covered by a moulded leaf. Both are enclosed by a horizontal D-shaped rope-twist handle. The handle on the side of the spout has a projecting pierced loop.</value>
