He followed George to England hoping to present this medal in commemoration of his coronation but was disappointed to have been left wait for some months before he was able to bring it before the King. Each letter of the legend on the obverse forms an emblem, having over it an explanatory inscription, complimentary to the character of the King, as follows:- G.
