This medal was instituted in 1918 by John Taylor Foot (c.1839-1928), engraver of medal dies (see Forrer VII, p. 312) and churchwarden of St Paul’s Church, Hammersmith; it was awarded annually to the head boy and head girl at the school. Ronald Patrick Hosmer (1918-1967) was Mrs Morris’s father.
