The current foliation is [front flyleaf] 1-14, 16, 19-16, 48-142, [back flyleaf]. Leaves 15, 17-18 and 47 are missing. Leaves 42v-46v and 48-82v are blank.
Leaves 1-48 have the original foliation. Leaves 15, 17-18 were removed at the time of copying, and no music is missing. Original foliation at the reverse end is incomplete (leaves 1-21 only) and has not been used.
Paper (front flyleaf): "HC / V" below fleur de lis in crowned shield; countermark "PB"
Paper (back flyleaf): "WR" below fleur de lis in crowned shield; countermark "ET" below "IHS" and cross.
Paper: 15 staves in 3 groups of 5 staves (404x246mm, 5-stave rastrum: 108mm); watermark: "WR" below Strasbourg bend; countermark "RC".

Previous binding: half calf with patterned paper sides. Conserved and rebound in quarter oasis niger with mabled paper sides and vllum tips by James Brockman, December 1979.</value>
