Pieces added in a different hand within any one of the four collections have been distinquished only by date.\nLeaves 74-97 are said to be copied by Tisdale, and are known and published as \"Tisdale's virginal book\" but the two pieces by \"Tisdale\" may be in a different hand from most of this part of the collection.\nManuscript paper printed by \"T.E.\" (Thomas East), 2 x 5 staves with gap (leaves 1-72), 10 staves without gap (leaves 73-125).\nWatermark: Pot.\nModern foliation omits blank pages.
