object type: Silver Viking ingot, late 9th or early 10th cent., cast with rounded ends, partially worked with hammer marks to all sides and upper and lower surfaces; 25.6mm x 11.5mm x 5.7mm; 10.62g; silver content c.88% (analysis at British Museum).  Found by Mr Jason Baker at Haslingfield, Cambs., 2 Oct. 2003; declared Treasure at inquest, March 2004.
