DESCRIPTIVE DATA
----------------
object type: Dark greyish-prussian blue glass with broad horizontal optic ribbing. The vase stands on a circular foot with a slightly sloping upper surface, and a circular central depression where the pontil mark has been ground down. The sides curve outwards gently, and then slope inwards slightly towards the rim. The lower part is thicker, and from a distance gives the impression that the vase is partly filled with water.
