Mounted in its original rectangular ebonized frame, with original paper backing, ornamental brass fittings and black ribbon. Purchased for £175 from Mr Martin Golding, Fellow of Peterhouse; formerly belonging to his mother Mrs Joy Golding (1921-1953); before her to his grandmother Mrs Ruth Shaerf (1890-1965), who probably puchased it before the 1939-45 War.</value>
