  <title>
    <value>One of 371 silvered antoniniani mostly of the third century AD from the Cottenham hoard (1986), which contained over 5,000 coins. As part of an agreement made with the finders in 1987, the Department of Coins and Medals cleaned all the coins in exchange for the right to make a selection from the hoard. The remainder of the hoard has been listed and returned to the finders. It will be published by T. V. Buttrey and K. E. T. Butcher.The Central Empire, Valerian and Gallienus (AD 253-60), Rome, 2nd series</value>
