Nine fascicles, the first two in the hand of a copyist probably from the 1720's, the rest are holograph, four from the 1710's, and two from ca. 1747.
Includes pages of different sizes, either oblong (ca. 24 x 29 cm) or folio (29 x 24 cm).
Former classmark: 6.I.2.
Ownership: from the Fitzwilliam collection of Handel autographs acquired in 1799.
Conserved, remounted, and rebound in quarter leather with marbled paper sides in 1978-1979 by the Cockerell Bindery; the 1890's bindings have been retained.
