The coins are welded on the top and bottom of a silver disc 7mm thick, the edge of which is finely engraved with a gothic inscription *THOMAS: [ ]; 16.27g, 24mm dia. x 7mm thick, cut portion with c.40% missing. The 'Thomas' named on it has not yet been identified.
