Ogee bowl with facetted lower part; cut baluster stem with basal collar; flat circular foot. The bowl is decorated with a continuous Bacchanalian frieze with narrow formal borders of scrolls and foliage above and below. The underside of the foot is cut with small radiating ovals and the top is engraved with a border of stylised plants between tassel-like motifs. The cover is decorated with a circle of cut disks and a border of scrolls, foliage and flowers linking a basket of flowers, a putto and two beakers.
