Cream earthenware tureen with convex bowl standing on raised, straight-sided foot; two small ‘D’ shaped loop handles. Cover slightly domed with inner rim and cut space for ladle; centre, side-mounted- oval handle. Handles on bowl and cover ridged at sides. ‘Tree of Life’ pattern, stylised tree with four branches on either side, painted in green and pink to each side of bowl and upper surface of cover; band of green outside band of feathered pink inside rim of bowl and around pattern on cover. Underside of bowl foot fully recessed, glazed except for rim. Cream earthenware tureen stand with convex sides and recessed centre. ‘Tree of Life’ pattern, stylised tree with four branches on either side, painted in green and pink, at centre; band of green outside band of feathered pink towards rim.
