Stained and painted en grisaille with details in red, greyish-blue and silver-yellow stain; the waves etched with a needle. In the panel on the left there is a three-masted ship at full sail flying three flags striped in red, white and blue, a yellow pennant and a yellow flag in the stern. In the panel on the right there are four ships close togther flying the red, white and blue flags. Six birds fly around the ships in each panel.
