Faith sits on a rectangular slab. She has a bare feet, a long robe and a mantle draped over her head and arms, and down to ground at the back. Her right arm, lacking the hand, is raised, and her head and gaze are turned towards it. With her left hand she holds the top of a circular portrait medallion of Cardinal Lelio Falconieri in profile to the right. It is supported from below by a putto, who turns his head away from it and leans backwards. The figures rest on an oval base with concave curved sides.
