      </maker>
      <note>
        <value>This vessel was made during a period in which Odundo was particularly interested in the forms of historic armour. The sharp angled top section of this vessel is after a fifteenth-century gothic bevor (a piece of plate armour designed to protect the neck), which Odundo had seen on display in the Wallace Collection, London.</value>
      </note>
      <note>
        <value>This vessel was previously on loan to the Fitzwilliam for inclusion in the exhibition, 'Magdalene Odundo in Cambridge' (5 October 2021 - 24 July 2022).</value>
