The circular cup is of tall, flared shape, with fluted sides and grooved loop handle, standing on a wedge-shaped foot-ring. The saucer has a flat well, and sloping, out-turned fluted sides. Each piece is painted with the 'Prunus Root' pattern, which continues over the rim.
