The pear-shaped coffee pot has a curved spout and S-scroll handle, on a low footring. The domed cover is surmounted by a flower knob. It is painted on both sides in famille-rose style with a seated man and a lady beside a marble table, a gardener offering a plant in front of a tall table. The rim is banded with a floral diaper border in underglaze blue, below a gilt line.
