Each side is painted with a large floral spray, surrounded by four small sprigs; the handle and spout have stylised pink leaf and dot motifs; the cover has three flower sprigs, and the flower finial is coloured green and puce with green leaves. The rims of the spout, footring, shoudlers and lid are banded in gold..
