The plate is circular, supported on a low footring; the out-turned fluted rim has a scalloped edge of twenty-four intersections. The front surface of the plate is painted in Meissen style with scattered sprays and sprigs of coloured flowers in reserve on a yellow ground. The rim is banded in gilt.</value>
