The jardini&#xE8;re is of octagonal shape, with high rounded sides, and thick everted rim, the base pierced with a central hole. The eight upright panels are painted alternatley with a phoenix perched in a flowering tree, and a flowering oriental shrub bearing quince-like fruit. The rim is painted with a 'honeycomb' diaper border.</value>
