Porcelain painted with a deep salmon-pink/orange ground, bat-printed in black, and gilt. The twelve pieces, which comprise four teacups (D,F,J and H), one coffee can (L), four saucers (E,G,I and K), two saucer dishes (B and C), and one bowl (A), are of circular shape with waisted bases to the sloping sides. The cups have circular ring handles with scroll terminals.
