The sides of the ovoid teapot are moulded with palm trees, which spring from a stiff leaf border, with a curved moulded spout and loop handle. It is painted with six flower sprays below a red rococo scroll and florette border, the stiff leaves round the base edged and veined in naturalistic colours.
