\/ ornaments \/ An Academy for Engravers \/ A fine Council Chamber in \/ which are many valuable drawings \/ & paintings by great masters, the \/ deposits of the Honorary Academicians \/ & a model in wood about 4 feet high \/ for a Temple to contain the statues of the \/ Niobe family, small models of the figures \/ with the Horse in the corridors of the Gallery \/ are disposed within in a is white, more favourable \/ for such as are disposed to study from \/ them, they are so well framed in wood \/ that nothing but wilful malevolence can \/ injure them, these I believe are the \/ only doors in the world worthy to be the entrance to a fine School of Art, some of \/ the casts in this room are \/ Apollo Belvidere \/ Venus de Medicis \/ the Boxers \/ the Laocoon \/ Menelaus supporting \/ Patroclus Bacchus leaning on a \/ faun from the Gallery \/ Fighting Gladiator \/ [iii] Dying Gladiator \/ Lesser Bacchus & faun \/ young Apollo \/ Pancritiast with the \/ Phial &c &c \/ many casts from \/ the Trojan Column ([i] preceding word crossed through in brown ink, following word appears above the line; [ii] prededing word crossed through in brown ink; [iii] list of casts arranged in two
