The oval sauceboat has pinched lip spout and strap handle with scroll thumbpiece, and stands on a waisted oval foot. The sides are moulded with rococo panels edged with scrolls and flowers, containing printed sprays of flowers, a chinoiserie landscape beneath the spout. The interior is printed in the centre with a flower spray, a lambrequin border inside the spout.
