Rounded funnel-shaped cup with scalloped rim and loop handle. Circular saucer with curved sides and scalloped rim. The cup is decorated with a Chinese lady standing beside a pot of flowers and another lady and a child standing beside a pot of flowers. Behind them there are fences and between them, in the background, a lake, buildings, a tree and mountains. Inside the cup there is a child holding a pot and round the rim a border incorporating butterflies, scale pattern and lozenges. The edge of the rim is gilt and there are touches of gilding on the handle. The saucer is decorated with a Chinese lady and child, standing in front of a fence beside a pot of flowers. The border is en suite with the cup.
