object type: Bone china, bone china,  with applied beading, glazed and painted in green, blue, yellow, pink, red, purple, pale yellowish-brown, and black enamels, and gilded. The vase is trumpet-shaped with an incurved base.  The beading is applied round the edge of the foot, between the foot and sides, and below the rim. On the front is a panel with a pale yellowish-brown ground decorated with a group of shells and sea weed in the other colours.  The back is white decorated in gold with two birds a basket of fruit suspended from a swag, a concal basket or vase with a cornucopia on each side, and an arrangement of scrolls at the bottom. The foot is gilded overall, and there is a wide gold band inside the rim.
