The underside is partially glazed and has a central small circular ventilation hole. The circular low mound base has scrolls in relief round the front, and at the back has a low tree stump with a short forked branch bearing applied white flowers and leaves on each side. The girl stands in front of it with her left foot advanced a little. She holds up the remains of a floral spray in her left hand, and with her right, holds up her apron which full of blue flowers and leaves. She has black hair and wears a yellow broad-brimmed hat with a purple underside to the brim, a turquoise bodice, with a red stomacher, a yellow skirt, a petticoat scattered with yellow and puce circular motifs, and black shoes with a red pom-pom on each. On the ground on each side of her there is a group of leaves and white flowers with yellow centres.
