It probably appeared during the first phase of maiolica production in Orvieo (c. 1225-50) alongside similar jugs decorated under lead glaze and was common during the Developed Phase (c. 1250-1350).referenceterm-107871adlib-term-10787178553be6-c810-30a1-9ba7-23f9a8a0094713th Centuryreferenceterm-10603adlib-term-1060309088083-a78d-3d70-9f4f-343b5c3283d7Medievalreferenceterm-110716adlib-term-1107167fa143b1-2071-36b6-81a5-02ab08b0f7d9literalItalyItalycountryliteralUmbriaUmbriaregionOrvietoreferenceterm-42861adlib-term-428615b368285-f1a8-3dcf-a5b2-637fd3c3956cearthenwareHeightcm10.3referencemedia-200322adlib-media-200322d5abe3cc-78cf-3661-94a6-c75b05b5e4c8jpegaa/aa35/C_19_1910_200908_mfj22_dc1.jpg1heightpixels1025widthpixels88516162798727441imagejpegaa/aa35/mid_C_19_1910_200908_mfj22_dc1.jpg1heightpixels579widthpixels50016162798727441imagejpegaa/aa35/C_19_1910_200908_mfj22_dc1.jpg1heightpixels1025widthpixels88516162798727441imagejpegaa/aa35/preview_C_19_1910_200908_mfj22_dc1.jpg1heightpixels290widthpixels25016162798727441image0media
