object type: Earthenware. Tin-glazed pinkish-grey overall except for the base. Painted in manganese and blue.
Shape 25. Circular with carinated sides and narrow base.
In the middle, a woman's head faces in profile to left towards four buds on stalks, surrounded by a blue circle edged with manganese. The sides are decorated with a row of slanting Ss with a manganese band above; the rim with alternating groups of blue splodges and manganese radiating strokes. Outside there are two manganese bands.
