  <description>
    <value>amphora, with decoration of figures and unitelligible inscription in relief. A note accompanying this object states that it was 'used for carrying water from the Nile by the women of the country'. The unusual figures, which cover the entire surface of the pot, date it to the Roman period. They include Pan, Bes, a ba bird and people wearing festival costumes. The script is unknown and probably magical.</value>
