This object has been carved and subsequently mounted onto a piece of card for display. Thin carved tenons at top and bottom of object, which was likely a furniture element. Edward Towry Whyte's initials are visible on the left side of the object. A prominent knot can be seen in the middle of the wood, and there is damage to the bottom right corner of the wood, and to both tenons.
