object type: Faience scraboid in the form of a bead, inscribed on the base with two crocodiles head to tail. This particular motif appeared on scarabs of numerous periods and it is normally possible to date them on stylistic grounds. However, since this example is a scaraboid it has been dated from the consistency of the faience, of which it is made.
