Right hand clenched with small hole, presumably for inserting an object, and left hand extended flat. Tenons at feet. Severe damage to figure, indicated by repair marks at right arm, right leg, and around waist. Large diagonal gouge cut into back of kilt, and small hole on left side of chest. Unusual appearance (especially with elongated hand), has prompted previous questions over authenticity. Accompanying the object is a modern resin-made mount, suggesting it possibly was on display at some point. male figure, striding, arms at sides. The official wears the shendyt kilt, which was strictly a royal garment until the Middle Kingdom.
