object type: Sakhmet, seated and crowned
object type: Large cast figure of Sekhmet sat on a throne, with a sun-disk fronted by a uraeus serpent. The object displays a number of mark-making techniques with scales featured on the sides of the throne, and hieroglyphic inscriptions along with figures on the back of the throne. There is damage to the front of the object (at the knees and shin), and some corrosion around the base of the statue. Tangs for attachment to another object are visible.
