object type: Wide flat rectangular scribal palette, with two round inkwells, and a downwards sloping hollow used as a rest for  brushes. Object is painted red, and there appears to be traces of red and black ink situated within the wells. For an interesting comparison see 55.82.20 at the World Museum, Liverpool.
