  <description>
    <type>physical description</type>
    <value>Carved statuette of a female, standing. Traces of yellow and black colouring remain. Both arms are missing, however there are two large dowels that were possibly used to attach the arms. Although it is possible that the dowel on the left was a later addition as it is a different shape to the other dowel and there are visible signs of glue around it. The figure is standing on a square shaped tenon, but the feet at some point have broken off. There is a thin crack that runs down the length of the figure, at the front. There is severe damage to the back of the head, with much of it missing (a vertical crack is also present), and there is also damage to her face. A white material is visible on the back of her legs, and at the base.</value>
