Shape: globular body, descending onto a foot ring. Collared neck and cup-shaped, lobed mouth. Exterior: the rim is painted with a lustre band; on the mouth and neck, friezes of chain stripe pattern are divided by further lustre bands. On the body vertical lustre stripes radiate between a lustre band on the lower and upper body, the latter is inscribed with naskh script. Glaze covers the surface to the lower body and foot ring where is terminates unevenly. Interior: the rim is painted with a lustre band and on the neck a kufic inscription is painted in lustre.
