The sides of the chair form the base. The figure is well coloured. The Prince wears a blue scoop-necked shirt; a kilt of brown, black and white tartan, white socks and black shoes. His hair is black and his eyes, brows and lips finely painted. The chair has a brown back-cushion. A chocolate brown line runs up the front sides and around the back of the chair, on top of which is a small moulded crown. The underside is arched and glazed, with a small vent hole.
