    <value>pearlware teapot with relief decoration painted in polychrome enamels</value>
  </description>
  <description>
    <value>Pale cream eathenware slipcast with decoration in relief, and very slightly blue tinted lead-glaze (pearlware), painted in blue, green, yellow puce pink, mauve, and red enamels. The oval pot stands on a shallow footring. The sides curve outwards and then almost vertically to the flat shoulder which has an oval aperture to take the cover with is slightly domed and has a ventilation hole, and a central bud knob. The straight sloping spout is moulded in relief to resemble asparagus heads, , and the wall behind it has seven holes surrounding a central hole to emit the tea. The strap handle is ear-shaped, and has a vertical central ridge and foliage at the junction of the top and bottom with the body. The lower part of the pot has a border of puce pink anthemion motifs with green leaves between them, above which is a broad band of scrolling foliage bearing puce-pink, mauve, and yellow stylized flowers, and green trefoil leaves. Above this is a narrow blue horizontal band and a row of blue dots on the edge of the shoulder, which is decorated with green pointed serrated leaves radiating from the mouth, enclosed by a blue zig-zag line and blue bell flowers in the spaces. The footring is blue. The moulding on the spout is painted in green and mauve, and it has a mauve line round its tip and a mauve-edged rococo 'frill' around its junction with the body. The handle has mauve leaf terminals and lines down its sides. The cover has a blue edge, a border of scrolling green foliage with yellow and puce-pink flowers, and a green and puce-pink knob rising from pointed leaves</value>
