On one side is a realistic floral design, on the other an image of a cottage with trees, both hand-painted and highlighted with additional lustre. Stylised leaves run down the outside of the handle. The rim has been dipped in a thick coat of pink lustre, which also coats the outside of the spout and the ends of the handle. There is a thick lustre band around the shoulder and thin bands around the neck and just above the foot.
